Amateur Drag has never been hotter. Every Friday Night 2-3 Amateurs will take the stage in their own show, alongside a couple of locally loved professionals. Want to get on stage, here's how ya do it.
Come in on Tuesday Nights for auditions. Show up by 9pm to be considered. Be ready to perform with 1 CD with your songs on them. Equals Show Directors, Managers & Clientèle will pick the performers for Friday Night's Show.
If you are picked for Friday Night, you must have your music here by 9pm to be in the show. (This is the same standard that we hold our cast to, and this is a must.) The entertainment in the PRIZM will begin at 10pm, you must be ready to perform by then.
Friday Night will consist of Amateurs performing 2-3 numbers and "Professionals" will have 2 numbers a piece. This will not be a normal sit-down type show, while there will be dancing in between the sets to Equals House DJ.
To be considered an amateur, you cannot be a current or past pageant title holder, nor a current member of any cast. Any other consideration for being an amateur is the sole discretion of Equals Bar Show Directors & Management. |
